August 21- Eclipse viewing party at the Benton County Library will begin at 12 noon-2 pm. All ages are invited! Snacks, crafts, and viewing glasses will be available.

August 26- Camden Cruise In! Join us at Ray Smith Chevrolet-Buick in Camden at 4:00 pm and bring your classic ride! Free entry and free admission for the whole family! 


August 29- Movie Night at the Benton County Library. "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul" will begin at 5:30. 

 

September 1-2-​ Bargain Highway Weekend! The annual 30-mile yard sale stretches itself through Benton County! Follow Highway 69 from Big Sandy, through Camden, and all the way through Holladay to catch hundreds of yard sales! 


September 1-3- Christian Music Freedom Fest will take place at the Hoot Owl Theater located at 97 Music Lane in Holladay, TN starting at 4 pm. Friday the entertainment will be King Crusaders, Birdsong Harps, and Michael English. Saturday's entertainment will be the Shepherd Family, Scattered Grass, Glorybound. And on Sunday the tunes of some Old Time Gospel and the MGBC Praise Pastor Greg Locke will play. Tickets are $12.50 each or $20 for Friday and Saturday. Sunday is FREE! September 16-17-Rock and Race Weekend! Saturday, the Eva Beach Arts and Music Festival includes the best in local performers, arts, crafts, food, and more. Sunday is the Amazing Race. September 16-TN National Wildlife Refuge presents "Archery Day at the Refuge" from 10 am- 3pm at the Refuge Visitor Center

 

September 23- National Public Lands Day! NBF State Park joins TN's State Parks with a conservation and preservation awareness day. A variety of events and service projects planned including litter clean ups, trail maintenance, hikes, and even a few canoe floats. Events are being held at different times throughout the day. October 5- Pastor's Appreciation Breakfast will begin at 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the Apex Bank of Camden's Community Room.
