Patsy Cline Memorial/Tribute Weekend
This festival is being re-evaluated. Planning is underway for a new memorial at the crash site, The Chamber's Tourism Committee is considering several ideas aimed at growing the event with an eye forward to a huge 50th anniversary tuibute in March of 2013. Organizers are looking for ways to recognize not only Patsy Cline, but also the other victims of the crash, Hawkshaw Hawkins, Cowboy Copas and Randy Hughes. Big Sandy Spring Festival
Held the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend in Big Sandy. This long-standing Big Sandy tradition includes live music, an art show, a car show, arts and crafts, a parade, fireworks and much, much more. visit http://bsspringfestival.tripod.com/ for more information on this great festival

Big Sandy Waterfowl Festival/Duck Blind Drawing
Held the first Saturday in August, this popular festival features hunting oriented dilplays and merchandise. TWRA draws for duck blind usage for the upcoming year on the wildlife management areas.

West Tennessee Old Time Fiddler's Championship & Bluegrass Jamboree
Held the third Saturday in April in Holladay Tn. Contests with cash prizes for best guitar, fiddle, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, dobro, bluegrass band square dancing and buck dancing.

Benton County Business and Healthcare Expo
In its first year in 2006, this Expo drew over 250 visitors combining two popular Benton County traditions, the Chamber of Commerce Business Expo and Camden General Hospital's annual Health Fair. Held on April 22nd from 8:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Briarwood School in Camden, the Expo included a variety of free health screenings, over 50 display booths featuring local businesses and healthcare providers, entertainment, food and refreshments, door prizes, games, special events and a $500.00 grand prize drawing sponsored by the Benton County/Camden Chamber of Commerce. The date for the 2008 Expo has not been finalized, but will likely fall in April once again. For more information, contact the Chamber at 731-584-8395 or email chamber1@usit.net. The Benton County Business and Healthcare Expo is sponsored by Camden General Hospital, the Benton County/Camden Chamber fo Commerce, The Camden Chronicle, WFWL/WRJB Radio, and the Benton County Health Initiative. This project has been funded under an agreement with Tennessee Department of Health.

Relay for Life
Benefit for the American Cancer Society This popular fundraiser features team sites, a walking track, food and refreshments, games, entertainment and much more. All proceeds go toward the fight against cancer. Held in June, the Benton County Relay for Life is listed as one of the top relays in the state for per capita donations.

Ryan Holladay Bluegrass Festival
Held each year the last Saturday in September in Eva, TN on the shores of beautiful Kentucky Lake / Tennessee River. This festival is growing in popularity and includes live music featuring some of the nation's best known bluegrass bands, performances by Benton County native/ recording artist Ryan Holladay, food and refreshments, fun for the kids, giveaways, and much more. Still in his early teens, Ryan Holladay has already accompished more than most entertainers accomplish in a lifetime. He is credited as the youngest performer ever on the legendary Grand Ole Opry, appearing the first time at the tender age of 5. His list of accomplishments include many appearances on national television programs including the Oprah Winfree Show, Crook and Chase and others. Ryan has performed by invitation at Carnegie Hall and in Japan. He has won multiple national championships in mandolin, banjo and dobro and placed third in the nation on guitar. Benton County Fair
Held in late August, this traditional county fair includes judging of produce and livestock, beauty pageants, live grandstand entertainment, a wide variety of food and refreshments, games and giveaways, fireworks, exhibits and much more as well as the popular carnival midway.

Jennie's Memorial Ride
Annual motorcycle ride to support Ronald McDonald House Charities in Nashville, Tennessee. This ride is held annually in memory of Jennie Michelle Baker Parker who lost her battle with cancer shortly after her 10th birthday in 1998. The2007 ride, held on June 23rd, included a performance by Jordan Harrison, a 12-year-old country music artist from Cullman, Alabama. Jordan is recognized for her performances all across the Southeast and donates much of her time and talent to help raise money for charities. Thirty-Mile Yard Sale
One Thousand Dollar Giveaway
Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the Labor Day weekend. Residents set up yard sales in front yards, garages, open fields, and parking lots along the official 30-mile route stretching through Big Sandy, Camden and Holladay. In just a few short years, Benton County Bargain Highway has become one of the premier events in the region drawing thousands of visitors from all parts of the country. Traditionally, the event consists of approximtely 150 - 200 yard sales along the official 30-mile route with additional sales throughout the county. Benton County Bargain Highway is a bargain hunter's paradise. In 2007, the Benton County/Camden Chamber of Commerce sponsored a $1,000 giveaway. Shoppers registered at official yard sale sites for a chance to win the $1,000 prize. The prize was awarded to a visitor from Southside, Tennessee. Registrations at 22 official sites totalled over 4700 shoppers with over 2800 from outside Benton County.

Benton County Aviation Day
Held the first Saturday in October, this popular event includes flying demonstrations and antique miltary aircraft and vehicle displays, free airplane rides for the kids, live music, food and refreshments, fun and games, Warbirds, formation flying, skydiving and much more. Magic Valley Christmas Parade
Held the Third Saturday in December in Camden. This year's parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be followed by a Christmas Walk and a Festival on the Square. The Christmas Walk will consist of open houses by many of the local businesses designed to allow last minute shoppers an opportunity to pick up those final gifts and help boost Christmas sales for local merchants. The Festival, now in its third year includes pictures with Santa, airmail letters to Santa, vendors, a choir contest, a cookie contest, an antique car show, face painting, and much, much more.

Big Sandy Christmas Parade
Now in its second year, the Big Sandy Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual Big Sandy Christmas Parade. Slated for Saturday, December 8, 2007, the parade will begin at 2:00 with related Christmas festivities throughout the day.
